BRUNO Srl signs a partnership with United Rentals and attends UR European Supplier Day 2024

BRUNO Srl has signed a Partnership Agreement with United Rentals International in Europe and attended the UR European Supplier Day 2024 which took place on June 18, 2024 at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam – Netherlands.

Supplier Day provided a great opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing in a live and interactive setting.

The event offered a great chance to engage with key stakeholders from United Rentals’ European division, with direct access to the sales team and senior/local management, enabling the supplier to gain valuable insights into customers’ needs.

BRUNO successfully participated by exhibiting two generators from its Stage V low emission range specifically designed for Rental industry: GX550S V (500kVA PRP unit with Scania engine DC16) and the ultra-silent FQ330S V (300kVA PRP unit with Scania engine DC09) with electric radiator and variable speed fans controlled by Inverter (VSi technology covered by patent).

These gen-sets are compatible with the use of HVO biofuels. The use of HVO fuels, along with the patented VSi Technology, can reduce CO₂ emissions by 95%.

To simulate a real application mode the 500kVA unit has been connected to an external fuel tank and an AdBlue tank, too.

This gen-set was started several times to show its performance and the power produced was used to charge a BESS connected to the generator by quick and safe power connectors powerlock type installed directly on board at Bruno’s Grottaminarda production plant.

The 500kVA units to be delivered to United Rentals Europe will run not only in the Netherlands but also in Germany, France and in United Kingdom.
